The light of Yoga is within you.
It’s time to embody it from the inside out.
Step into Radiant Bodhi Yoga School, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training for the yoga practitioner wanting to dive deeper than just the postural practice of yoga. It’s an opportunity to learn to teach, to embody Yoga philosophy, to expand your practice, and grow your knowledge of the ancient and transformative practices of Hatha Yoga. This teacher training program aims to produce well-trained, knowledgeable, and safe yoga teachers who foster an inclusive environment for students to develop and enhance their yoga practice.
There are a variety of approaches to Yoga education in the modern world, so what makes this program different? The focus of this program is not on fitness training, asking bodies to “fit” into perfect shapes, or disregarding the beautiful variety of needs within each individual; rather, it offers a comprehensive curriculum that engages students in all aspects of the classical yoga tradition while introducing current yoga research and applications. Within the postural practice of Yoga Asana, we will address yoga “postures” both in the classical context, as well as from a modern lens that empowers each individual to move their body in ways that not only honors their unique anatomy, health history and needs, but also gives each student the tools to create that inclusive, safe and empowering space for others!
This training program will emphasize textual study, philosophy, the Eight Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga, and functional asanas.
Guided by Lead Trainer, Larissa Herrington (E-RYT 500, Yin Yoga Certified Levels 1 & 2, and a Licensed Massage Therapist), you will gain the expertise necessary to share the transformative practice of yoga with others.
Throughout the training process, you will receive the skills and knowledge needed to teach various yoga styles, along with exceptional education, resources, support, and information. You can expect to leave this training feeling confident in guiding others on their yoga journey, teaching various yoga classes steeped in Yoga Philosophy, such as Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Gentle styles, as well as Pranayama (Yogic breathwork) and meditation, and deepening your spiritual yoga practice.
Class size is limited. This is intentional to create an environment that fosters community and better serves the learning and mentoring process. The intimate setting addresses more individual questions and needs throughout training, creating and allowing for a teacher-student relationship where you can be served and your growth supported throughout your Yoga journey.
